Behind the Veil

'Behind the Veil' is a gorgeous acrylic painting that I painted while spending a week in my happy place in Waterville recently. There were many days I watched the Skellig islands vanish and reappear behind the veils of rain. When the skies clear, the light around them is always otherworldly - shifting, glowing almost sacred. For me the view is a sanctuary and painting it brings me a deep sense of serenity and calm as if I'm returning to something ancient and safe. This piece captures that quiet magic - a moment where the light breaks through and the soul is calm. 

This original painting is 60 cm x 60 cm acrylic on canvas. 

It comes framed in an off-white frame 75 cm x 75cm
